Alan Loayza

Alan Loayza

Actor (Oliver Crane)
Alan was born at Hollywood Presbyterian but his first gig was at the age a 6 in Saudi Arabia where he dressed up like a sucker and sang "On The Good Ship Lollipop" in a chorus line of a bunch other suckers. It was the crowd (of parents) favorite. He then moved back and was a drama geek all through school and danced with Steve Urkel on an episode of Step by Step. In High School he he won 13th in the Nation in Humorous Interpretation at The National Forensics League Speech and Debate National Tournament. Shannon Nelson

Shannon Nelson

Actor (Martha Thistlethwait), Producer
Shannon Nelson likes gamers so much that she married one and, though she once proudly spoke of being kicked out of a D&D session for being too loud, she has now sort of joined the fold by association. A fan of the X-Men and Brian Bendis' Spiderman, she wishes artists would cease & desist drawing Emma Frost with so much camel toe -- seriously, it's gross. With her theatre company Lucid by Proxy she has appeared in 13 original productions, including originating the role of Priscilla in Rick Robinson's recently published Asymmetry. Films include a supporting lead in New Line Cinema's Drop Dead Gorgeous, TheCampushouse.com and on TV you may have caught a glimpse of her in any of her numerous national commercials or seen her guest spots on ER, The West Wing or The Practice. She has also appeared in LA with the Colony Theatre (The Country Girl), Musical Theatre West (Hello Dolly!), Nomme de Guerre (Pains of Youth) and others.

In real life, Rick quit gaming after middle school in a effort to join the cool crowd in high school. The gambit failed. Rick has penned six plays that have been produced by Lucid by Proxy in Los Angeles: SAP, School of Jesus Fish, i r l (in real life), Asymmetry, Multiverse and the musical Spare Parts and Cynic (with composer Joshua N Hsu). These productions garnered six Backstage West Critics' Picks, four L.A. Weekly 'GO' picks and two L.A. Times 'Recommended' picks and, after its second run with Lucid in the Paul E. Richards theater, Asymmetry was published by Samuel French in late 2007. As an actor, Rick has performed with the Lucid by Proxy, PCPA, The Falcon Theater, The Company Rep, Summer Repertory Theater, Playhouse West and City Lights Theater Company, all under the what-was-he-thinking stage name Richard Wylie.

He now resides in Burbank, CA, pursuing his acting career. Ed can be seen in several short films currently running in the festival circuit, as well as the occasional internet commercial, infomercial, music video, and Court TV reinactment. When pressed, he must admit he has role-played before, and fairly recently, but would prefer if that were kept only between him and everyone who reads this bio.

James is happy to be a part of GOLD where he gets to work with so many extremely talented people both on screen and behind and next to the camera.
